Pixlr
- List the six (6) PIXLR tools/manipulations and explain how and/or why you used each one. I added images and the background, put an "overlay" on the background to bring out the warmer tones. Used the cutout tool to remove the background from the images I added, and rotated and cropped them so they were appropriately sized. Adjusted the color and light on some of the images I uploaded so they looked like they fit on the background. Had to figure out how to lock certain things so everything wasnt floating all around when I moved pieces.
- Compare Photoshop and PIXLR E - Pros, Cons? Would you use these tools in your art classroom? Pixlr is by far easier to use, and its free. I would maybe use this in a classroom but probably never Photoshop. Maybe they exist but I've never been to or heard of a school that has access to Photoshop apps year round, and I dont think that 4 hours of me teaching myself either of these programs qualifies me to teach them to a group of students.
- You can add a png of your finished oxymoron to your Blog if you would like.
